A GOOD CHRISTIAN THEATERGOER!
There is what we call a good theatergoer, who can suspend all of his beliefs whenever he watches a stage play, which means he is submitting himself to whatever story, character, scenes he will be seeing. It also means that If he saw His girlfriend, who is a part of the cast, having a kissing scene, he won’t mind that because He has submitted himself to the play, which means he is into the play.
But there is also what we call a good christian theatergoer, that also submits but he choose what to watch and to view. And if the Christian is a part of a play, he must be discerning and sensitive if he will be pleasing God in that character or role he will portray.
But theater arts, sure is a way for self-improvement!
But I’m also into good christian theatergoers. That should be our aim.
God won’t want us to portray a nude scene, a scene that has a PG-13,14,15 UP, or any scenes that would affect our testimony as a christian.
BE DISCERNING!
BE SENSITIVE!
